Various School Work

My Mom is here this week, so there won't be posting, but I needed to put pictures up from last week, so here there are. Right now my son is into doing puzzles with GMA and anything she gets him to do.

Today: October Lesson(s) Begin...

When you have a three year old, using the term schooling is a bit amusing. But that is what we did this morning for a total of 15 minutes. We discussed Fall and the changing leaves and what it means and Logan drew his idea of what a leaf was. Then we discussed how October is Fire prevention month and he drew what his idea of a fire was. It was cute as ever. Then we went over his weekly verse. He quickly got tired of that and we ended the lesson.

Puzzles..

Logan loves puzzles. The dinosaur one is one my Mom sent him for his 3rd bday in August. He and my Husband had a great time with it, then the second one is a Thrift Store buy for $1,it's a cartoon he loves and he loves doing this puzzle. We found it last Friday and I am glad I bought it, it was worth $1 for him to have a focus.

Goodness Me! Time Sure Flies!

Wow, I cannot believe the last time I blogged was August 17th. Life has got very busy for us between my Husband's crazy hours, my school and home keeping. Then we found out my Husband will be deploying for a year it's just crazy been busy. Logan is amazing - he now attends Cubbies at Awana's and is awesome at learning memory verses. He puts his mother to shame that's for sure. We're doing a lot of stuff informal and he's quiet the sponge. Then there's Levi, he's only 15 wks. (as of tomorrow) and just seems so much more active and alert than I remember Logan being at his age. I think I am going to be running after him for sure. I love and am enjoying life and while I don't want to say, "Good bye" to the hubby for a year, I know this is yet another point God will show us his faithfullness and honor the promises he's made me and this family. Summer was supposedly over in September. North Carolina didn't seem to get the memo. It's just now starting to get sort of cooler here in October. Still the changes seem to go back and forth day-to-day, we shall see. I am needing to get stuff for schooling for October. Logan loves art projects, but I haven't been on my "A" game. So, here's to "Fall!" whenever it gets here!

Blessings,
Ashley
